Regarding Violation probation / suspended sentence in Maryland?
Well, I just found out tonight that the sisters of my public defender when she got in trouble Is Now District Judge! What is strange is that? Just wondering if that would make a difference in how it is being tried? The district court judge who was at that time is now a judge of the circuit? Wouldnt that have bearing on how he would be tried, right? Any help / advice or have is greatly appreciated? Since then he has been clean, and has stayed out of trouble, so I hope that this works in your favor!
I am a probation officer – And I see many times. I had some of my probation must see a different judge because 1 of the district judge in the case represented a few years ago. He also seen this happen with defendants coming to court for the first time. So yes, it only moves the case to a different judge. Very routine.
