What are the requirements to be Secretary of Defense? Thanks
1) That the President appoint you. 2) that the Senate approve the appointment. Actually, that's all. The Constitution gives no requirement for any Cabinet position. You supposedly have to be a U.S. citizen who is in legal voting age (ie over 18), but I do not think it specifically described on the website.
